Spring Arrivals from Vitra

New products

A versatile design that will find its place anywhere; at home or in the office, at the dining table or in the work corner. Take a look at the new products from the iconic Swiss brand Vitra that meet this brief 100%.

Mynt Chair

The Mynt chair, designed for Vitra by renowned designer Erwan Bouroullec, will fit into offices, public spaces and home interiors. In office environments it will add a cosy, homely character, while in domestic interiors it will provide the comfort and dynamism of an office chair. It completely defies conventional categorisations; versatility is what lies at the heart of this piece's creative concept.

Courier Table

Designer Ronan Bouroullec, who is the author of another spring novelty – the Courier table – draws on his artwork in his design. He is known for his drawings in which he repeats sequences of lines by hand using a calligraphic brush. The outlines of the Courier table can be seen as a further variation on this concept, but they also testify to Bouroullec's sense of form and composition as well as his technical expertise: the design of the table juxtaposes two high-quality materials, wood and aluminium, in a natural way, creating a distinctive yet visually harmonious whole.

From the dining room to the office: New Mikado Chair bases

Designed by design duo Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby, the updated Mikado chair design now adds a four-legged cross on glides and a five-legged cross on casters to the original four-legged base. These new variations expand the chair's applications to include office spaces, meeting rooms and home work areas. Both new bases are made from recycled aluminium.
