Towards sustainable production with Arper
In collaboration with Arper, we organized a breakfast for architects, where we presented one of the most progressive materials in contemporary furniture design – PaperShell. This innovative biogenic material made from wood processing industry waste enables the creation of products with an exceptionally low carbon footprint and is also 100% biodegradable.
The iconic Catifa Carta model played a leading role in our Konsepti Stage during the event, with its PaperShell shell representing a combination of technological innovation, aesthetics, and a responsible approach to manufacturing. We also presented a new version with a wooden base, which further reduces CO₂ emissions by 20% compared to the metal version.
We are very pleased to be working with brands that go far beyond trends and put sustainability on a par with design. Many thanks to Andrea Mulloni, Head of Sustainability at Arper, for guiding us through a pleasant morning.
The exhibition of Catifa Carta chairs by Arper can be viewed at Holport in Prague until the end of June 2025.
