description
Tasked with creating a chair suitable for serial production, Rietveld responded to market demands while prioritising comfort and relaxation. This approach led him to treat the chair’s elements as distinct, modular units—an innovation that contributed to its status as both a hallmark of the Neoplastic movement and a testament to Rietveld’s experimental spirit.
The armchair is available in fabric or leather, with either blanket stitching or zig-zag topstitching, each offered in a palette of five colours.
