description

Designed in 1959 by Franco Albini in collaboration with Franca Helg, Tre Pezzi is a modern reinterpretation of the classic bergère. The design is composed of three distinct geometric elements: a deep, curved seat, a ring-shaped backrest, and a half-moon headrest—each visually independent yet harmoniously integrated.

Generously proportioned and inviting, the upholstered forms combine precise lines with exceptional comfort. The tubular metal frame, inspired by scaffolding poles, features armrests with a distinctive sideways curve reminiscent of the handrails Albini and Helg designed for the Milan underground.

Reissued by Cassina with utmost respect for the original, Tre Pezzi remains a striking, contemporary piece with enduring visual impact.
