description
This iconic quote lends its name and spirit to Take a Line for a Walk, the armchair designed by Alfredo Häberli for Moroso in 2002. Inspired by the fantastical worlds of childhood—cars, spaceships, and captain’s chairs at control panels—the design awakens emotional memories of imagination and play.
The chair's sculptural, wraparound shell offers comfort and protection: a personal retreat to relax, rest your head, and momentarily disconnect from the outside world. A decade after its debut, the armchair retains its expressive power. Now upholstered with a prominent zip that traces the silhouette, it creates a bold division between exterior and interior. The outside is defined by precise, controlled geometry, while the interior bursts with softness, vivid colours, and an unexpectedly exuberant, feminine energy.
Constructed with injected flame-retardant polyurethane foam over an internal steel frame. Swivel base with four-star design. Available with cotton gel quilt or quilted fabric. The covers are non-removable.
