Rift Sofa

Named after the geological term for a crack or fissure, Rift is a seating system that disrupts the conventional order of domestic and public spaces. Unlike traditional modular designs rooted in strict geometry, Rift embraces asymmetry and unpredictability—an intentional randomness inspired by the natural world.

Its layered, intersecting volumes resemble tectonic plates, appearing to shift, collide, and overlap. This creates a dynamic sense of movement while maintaining a sense of calm and balance. Designed for individual comfort yet ideal for communal settings, Rift brings a fluid, sculptural energy to even the most formal interiors, redefining how we perceive space and separation.

Made with injected flame-retardant polyurethane foam over an internal steel frame. Feet are crafted from PVC. Covers for the Rift collection are not removable.
