Lucia Eames™ Butterfly Tapestry

Butterfly Tapestry reinterprets one of Lucia Eames’ most iconic symbols in a smaller format, conceived as a textile artwork. 

Handwoven inkilim using handspun Afghan wool, the design plays with variations in density to reveal the inner structure of the weave, subtly drawing the butterfly form. This approach captures the texture and sensitivity of the original collage, resulting in a nuanced and tactile surface. 

Designed as a ready-to hang piece, it includes a wall hanging system that allows for easy integration into a variety of spaces
