Architect: AnnaMAT Architects
The team of architects from the anna MAT studio drew inspiration from elements of traditional Japanese culture when designing the renovation of the Yami Sushi restaurant on Masná Street. The space has been stripped of its original layers and newly opened up to vaulted ceilings symbolizing the night sky. Despite the minimalist character of the interior, the restaurant does not lack coziness, thanks mainly to the sensitively chosen materials and color palette dominated by earthy tones.
The interior is accented with a muted red color, provided by chairs from the ferm living brand. The restaurant is also dominated by a bar with an open kitchen, complemented by Herman bar stools from the same manufacturer.
