Project: Fanta Café

Public spaces

The spirit of belle époque comes alive again at the recently reconstructed Fanta Café. The CAMA architects team has recently taken on the project and transformed the culture hall interiors in what is known to be the largest Art Nouveau building in the Czech Republic designed by the famous Czech architect Josef Fanta at the beginning of the 20th century.

The concept behind this project was a journey through time. The journey commences in the modern hall, continues in the basement café and ends in the main hall and the intimate lounge salon. Visitors are gradually tracing a path leading through the various parts of the building and ultimately back to the Art Nouveau period.

The Art Nouveau aesthetics is further complemented by the selection of furniture from our portfolio. With their rounded silhouettes, the Caratos armchairs by Maxalto or the 375 sofa by Walter Knoll dominating the intimate lounge, beautifully correspond to the organic shapes and floral motifs permeating the interiors. The main lounge areas are also furnished with the comfortable Gregor sofa by the Italian brand Molteni.
