Prague 1 Flat

Apartments and villas

Architect: Jančálek Architects

A heritage-protected house in the heart of Karlín, built by the famous architect Jan Ripota in 1837, now offers a fully renovated apartment. Its transformation is based on a harmonious fusion of history and contemporary taste.

The reconstruction was carried out under the direction of the architectural studio Jančálek, resulting into an airy interior that combines original elements with a modern concept of space which is best evidenced by the raised ceilings and the outdoor atrium, giving the apartment light and an overall fresh character; exposed wooden beams and muted earthy colours are subtly juxtaposed with modern, minimalist furniture silhouettes.

Pieces from our range of brands can also be found in the interior of the apartment. For example, the Superloon lamp from Flos, or the Febo armchair with footstool from Maxalto. The S-Chair armchair and the Thin side table from Cappellini add a stylish touch to the hallway. In the living room, it's the Riso rug from B&B Italia.
