Product
description

The version reimagined in Vietnam in 1943 reflects Perriand’s adaptive and resourceful spirit—crafted during wartime using locally available materials and techniques. The initial model featured three legs, with a fourth added in subsequent iterations. This evolution exemplifies Perriand’s ability to adjust her designs based on material availability and production context.

Cassina has faithfully reissued the Indochine armchair, honouring the original concept while introducing a solid wood base that showcases the exceptional craftsmanship of its woodworking artisans. This edition pays tribute to both the integrity of the original design and the timeless quality of artisanal production.
