GNR Service Prunier

In 1961, the restaurant’s owner, Madame Prunier, commissioned Le Corbusier to design a bespoke set featuring the interlocking hands motif found at the base of Les Mains, a tapestry he had created in 1951 and which adorned one of the restaurant’s private dining rooms.

Le Corbusier personally used the plates, which he described as an ideal blend of quality and form—what he called “the taste of forms.” Now, in collaboration with Ginori 1735, Cassina faithfully reissues the Service Prunier tableware, with a meticulous focus on authenticity and craftsmanship.

The set includes a dinner plate, soup bowl, dessert plate, and coffee cup with saucer. Each piece is made of white porcelain, just like the original, and features Le Corbusier’s design hand-applied with the utmost care.
