Designed by Gaetano Pesce and developed within Cassina’s Research Centre—a hub of experimentation and innovation—Feltri embodies avant-garde thinking and craftsmanship. Its unique construction process, patented by Cassina, marks a significant milestone in design engineering.

Crafted entirely from dense wool felt, the armchair features a soft, wrap-around backrest formed from a single pliable piece. At the same time, the lower portion is reinforced with thermoset resin, making it sturdy and supportive. The mattress-like seat is secured to the frame with hemp ties that continue along the upper section, adding both structure and visual detail. A quilted, polyester-padded interior enhances comfort.

Feltri’s upholstery is available in a wide variety of fabrics, which can be combined with six new frame colours to create ten distinctive colourways—offering remarkable flexibility and personalisation in one iconic design.
