description

This chair was designed by Charles and Ray Eames back in the 1950s. Their main idea was to create a chair that would perfectly adapt to the human body, offering comfort and durability. The characteristically shaped shell seat, complemented by a complex steel base, forms a whole that has gradually become an icon. Today, the chair is produced exclusively from recycled plastic in a wide range of pastel colours. It is easy to use at home or in the office, but it also fits beautifully in cafés and other public spaces.

The version with the four-star base was designed in 1960 for the La Fonda restaurant in New York. The base stands out with its distinctive design — two mirrored columns connected by a four-star foundation create a unique and striking combination.
