Designed as a striking meeting table for up to ten people, the D.859.1 commands attention not only for its impressive scale—spanning over 3.6 meters—but also for its refined simplicity. Its distinctive legs form a sleek, trapezoidal bridge-like structure, supporting a large tapered top that conveys a sense of lightness and aerodynamic fluidity.
Originally crafted from solid ash with bronze ferrules, the table is now also available in a sophisticated Black Stained Ash finish. In addition to its original grand dimensions, the D.859.1 has been reissued in two smaller versions, each meticulously maintaining the balance and proportions of Ponti’s original vision.
