Coo Coo Birdhouse

The Coo Coo birdhouse is a closed shelter for small birds created from bent metal. Thin sheet edges are welded to host a wooden bar whose function is to provide a rest stop for birds. Very delicate thin surface creates a transparent frontal view, while the side view clearly discloses the form and function of the birdhouse. Minimalist design has breathed new life in this otherwise marginalized object by expanding its primary function into decorative one.
