The Bascule lounge chair combines the relaxed aesthetic of a loose fabric cover with an innovative seat mechanism allowing a fluid range of motion—from an upright posture to a nearly horizontal position. Drawing on tailoring techniques from fashion, Studio Œ designed a removable cover that wraps around the structure like a jacket. All elements of the chair can be easily repaired or replaced. Available with two base options in highback or lowback models, Bascule can be perfectly paired with a matching ottoman or bench.
