Aava 02 is crafted from a blend of durable, aesthetically refined post-consumer recycled plastic and virgin polypropylene, available in a new colour palette designed to harmonise with the wider Arper collection. With the future in mind, Aava 02 offers a responsible design that creates enduring beauty for generations to come.
Versatile and adaptable, Aava 02 is suited for a broad range of indoor and outdoor applications. The collection introduces a shell made from a mix of post-consumer recycled and virgin polypropylene—marking a sustainable shift from its original wood form and later plastic iterations. The shell’s distinctive silhouette, defined by its variable thickness, highlights its soft, fluid profile.
New sustainable upholstery options are now available across fabric, coated fabric, and leather versions. In addition to the front-upholstered option (exclusive to the wooden shell), Aava 02 includes a fully upholstered version made without glue, a removable seat cushion, and a removable cover—offering flexibility and environmentally conscious alternatives.
Available as both a chair and stool, Aava 02 can be configured with all base options in the collection: stackable four-leg or sled base, wooden legs, and trestle base (with or without castors). For added functionality, the chair version with trestle base is available with optional armrests. Stools come with either wooden legs or a sled base.
